 Parti Poodles are very adorable and have wonderful personalities.Parti Poodles were accepted for exhibition in the early days.It was not until the first poodle standards were adopted that breeders decided to go only with the solid colored poodles for show. The reason is not clear but it is believed that it was a factional decision, between those who bred the old English poodle (parti colored) and those who imported from Germany (solid color).
